The Jackson County Department on Aging is seeking individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of older adults in Jackson County. Join the team of Casual Meal Transporters. Weekdays up to 19 hours per week. This position is not eligible for benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under supervision of the Nutrition Services Manager, operates vehicle to transport meals to nutrition sites and Meals on Wheels client homes. Packs and loads food containers, communicates client status with Department on Aging personnel, and completes various required forms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
- Ability to stoop, bend and lift meal boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
